STARDUST APPROACH 

Stardust Impact is a nonprofit organisation working across science, culture, and society. We collaborate with researchers, educators, innovators, cultural practitioners, and organisations to develop projects and public engagement initiatives that bring different forms of knowledge into conversation. Our work takes many forms including educational programmes and projects,  public engagement formats, documentary films, and interdisciplinary collaborations. The intention is consistent. We bring research, lived experience, and cultural perspectives into dialogue.

We often speak about social impact as if it were something that can be delivered or measured from a distance. We approach it differently. For us, impact begins earlier. It begins when understanding expands.

When a researcher encounters a perspective that reframes their work.

When an educator recognizes a connection beyond their discipline.

When an innovator connects their work to the people and realities beyond their own field. 

Knowledge does not act on its own. It is interpreted, shared, and applied through people, relationships, and culture. 

Sometimes it becomes the basis for a new collaboration.  Sometimes it changes professional practice. Sometimes it changes how people understand the world around them. Our role is to create the conditions where these encounters can happen across research, culture, innovation, and society, and between people who would not otherwise share a table.

This is where we locate impact. In perspectives, decisions, and relationships that become different because understanding has deepened.
