STARDUST APPROACH
Stardust Impact is an interdisciplinary nonprofit working at the intersection of research, education, culture, and lived experience. We bring together educators, researchers, artists, cultural practitioners, industry innovators and decision-makers to think and work across boundaries that are often kept apart.
Our work takes many forms — educational programs, documentary films, and public engagement initiatives. The intention is consistent.
We create spaces where knowledge can move between fields and enter practice.
We often speak about “social impact” as if it were an outcome, something that can be delivered, scaled, or measured at a distance.
We approach it differently. For us, impact begins earlier. It begins when knowledge moves.
When a researcher hears a question that reframes their work.
When an educator recognizes a connection beyond their discipline.
When an innovator revises a decision because a perspective they had not considered becomes impossible to ignore.
Knowledge does not act on its own. It is taken up, interpreted, and applied. Sometimes it becomes language for a new collaboration. Sometimes it becomes a change in practice. Sometimes it quietly alters how people relate to the world around them. Our role is to create
the conditions in which these changes can occur, across fields that rarely meet and between people who would not otherwise share a table.
Over time, these small adjustments accumulate. That is where we locate impact — in perspectives, decisions, and behaviours that are different because understanding has expanded.
Stardust Impact in Action

Impact Studio
We create documentary films that explore societal questions through the people who encounter them in their work and daily lives. Across research, professional practice, cultural interpretation, and lived experience, each perspective holds a distinct form of knowledge. Our films bring these forms of knowledge into relation.

Impact Lab for Organisations
We help organisations see how their work interacts with the wider systems they are part of. Every decision is already linked to industries, stakeholders, and the broader society. Through social impact mapping, we identify these relationships and make their implications clear. From there, we develop a story of change that strengthens credibility, direction, and collaboration.

Collaboration Projects
We develop interdisciplinary projects that bring research, education, culture, and innovation into conversation. These initiatives create the conditions for different forms of knowledge to meet. From this exchange, new forms of collaboration emerge, along with concrete contributions to social impact.
